GPS presents Adam Horovitz ~ Poetry Workshop & Reading

The Gloucestershire Poetry Society 'Cursive Crows', presents a Poetry Workshop & Reading by Adam Horovitz, hosted by Josephine Lay.

Adam Horovitz is Stroud-based poet and performer. His first full collection, Turning, was released by Headland in 2011 and he has celebrated Stroud and the surrounding valleys in A Thousand Laurie Lees (History Press, 2014) and Little Metropolis (a CD of poetry and music commissioned by the Stroud Fringe Festival in 2015).
He has travelled across Europe to poetry festivals as one of Ledbury Poetry Festival’s Versopolis poets since 2015 and was the Herefordshire poet in residence from 2015-2016 and the Pasture-fed Livestock Association’s poet in residence from 2016 to 2019. His second full collection of poems, The Soil Never Sleeps, written during this residency, was released by Palewell Press in January 2018. A second, extended edition was released in 2019 and the audiobook is due out later in 2020.
He co-presents The Thunder Mutters, a poetry and music podcast, with fiddle player and musicologist Becky Dellow.
